As some of you may know, I self-publish a lot, and on a variety of subjects. These (humble) literary efforts are available world-wide from Amazon at, I think, affordable prices. How affordable? I receive quarterly notices from Amazon’s self-publishing boffins explaining how my royalties for sales could increase if I’d only jack up the prices on my existing catalog and all future efforts. Well, as it says at the end of my Amazon Writer’s Profile, “If Amazon would let me sell my books for a buck a piece, I would.” But they won’t, so I charge as little as they will allow. And that includes the new book, A Minor Case of The Blues (Pretentious, Self-Serving, and more).
A couple things about this one: To begin with, the subtitle - which could suggest it was ghostwritten by someone like, say, Michael Moore - isn’t 100% accurate, in that I don’t think it’s all that pretentious. I could be wrong, of course. Even so, any accolades or criticisms must fall squarely on my shoulders. I promise you this, though: A Minor Case of The Blues is as agenda-free and as brilliant as Michael Moore’s books are not. But be advised: should you go looking for this book, there is more than one Bill Parker out there. There is even another book called A Minor Case of The Blues. But this is the one you’re looking for. Accept no substitute:
Another thing about this current (humble) literary effort is that it will be 12 months before you see another one. Yes, apart from this blog/blagh/blah-blah, I’m taking the year off from the world of short (albeit affordable and brilliant) books, and will be concentrating on music, which mostly takes the form of composing and recording soundtracks to accompany the occasional book. So, first up is a soundtrack for A Minor Case of The Blues. For those interested in hearing some of my soundtrack work - under the handle After Halloween - here’s where to go. And if you like any or all of the available tracks, they may be downloaded for free :

And I think that’s about it for now.
